"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."Matt 21:22
I believe this is true. In the next few days, I will watch all the things that I ask for to come to fruition. I know it will be fulfilled, because it is God's will to bring certain things to realization. He doesn't force Himself on us, so these things don't happen unless we ask.
I ask for:
- Abiding presence. I ask for God's abiding presence to surround me, like an invisible force-field filled with love, joy, peace that permeates to all around me. In short, the Holy Spirit, which God is pleased to bestow on His children.
- Remembrance. The ability to remember that all I need is found in God. His promises are abundant and I love to remember that I am completely satisfied in Him. He provides all that I need, at all times. He blesses my loved ones. I ask for the remembrance of God's blessings on my family and friends. If He has been there for them in the past, as I pray I know that He can show up again.
- Knowledge of Him. I ask for a deep, understanding and knowledge of God: His ways, His character, and the extent of His love. I ask that this knowledge would lead to a deep trust where there's less worry and more faith.
Asking, receiving, believing. I am grateful for these things. I embrace all that God desires for me and my loved ones. I choose to trust Him in feast or famine, come hell or high water. I am His and He is mine. And for that, I am grateful.
