All things are Possible with God

"All things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27)

When I meditate on this very simple scripture, it reminds me of how you can have either an abundant mindset or a scarcity mindset. The person with an abundant mindset looks at a situation and sees what all is possible and confident that blessings will abound and are plenty. The person with a scarcity mindset looks at a situation and sees only what is lacking and believes there is not enough.

I have held both mindsets at one point or another. It seems that when I count my blessings and truly look to see who God has been for me in the past, then I can embrace an abundant mindset and can then believe that "all things are possible with God." Other verses come to mind:

"He can do exceedingly abundantly more than what we ask or imagine." Ephesians 3:20

"Open your mouth wide so I can fill it."

"Eye has not seen nor ear has heard Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Cor 2:9)

These are just a few promises. We limit ourselves by our limiting beliefs. God is beyond what our imaginations can conceive. We may have one thing in mind, while He has something way better. I have dreams/visions for myself, my family, and my children. I trust that God can do the impossible. He can allay my fears and give me a mindset that focuses on all that God is able to do. I'm thankful for these truths. For all of those things, I am thankful.
