"He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Psalms 91:11
Imagine if we woke up each morning and moved about our day with the awareness that angels were present with us. As I make my way out of my cozy bed, I as the Lord's presence to be with me. However, I often forget that angels also ought to be acknowledged for the role that they play in our lives.
The problem is that I forget. There are so many temptations and distractions we lose the sense of God abiding with us moment by moment. Jesus, who is our examplI, made an intentional effort to have God's presence abide with Him. This proved to be just the thing He needed in order to defeat the enemy. Even after Satan came to tempt Him, Jesus quoted scripture being fully confident of God's power. When it was all over, the devil left Him, and "angels came and attended him." The angels know when to come in at the right time to help us when we need it most.
As I think back on recent and past experiences, I have seen the way the angels have protected me. My prayer is for God to abide in me so that I may know that He has power to send His angels to help me as I walk in His ways. I am grateful for the ministering work of the angels. I choose to direct my mind to all that is available for me. I hope to never forget. I'm grateful for the angels. I am grateful for the ways they have guarded my ways.
